VCMS team at the “5th Vitamin D Deficiency and Human Health Conference”
The “5th International Conference on Vitamin D Deficiency and Human Health” was held at Jumeirah Etihad Towers Hotel in Abu Dhabi from 24th till 25th March, 2016.
Evidence has shown that adequate levels of vitamin D may prevent multiple bone disorders such as rickets in children; and osteoporosis in adults. Vitamin D deficiency is thought to be a widespread public health problem globally; being more prevalent in places with limited sun exposure and in sunny countries like United Arab Emirates.
This year meeting was focused on the latest research and clinical practice of vitamin D and its impact on human health throughout the life cycle. World experts on this subject presented their knowledge and practice to the delegates, resulting with extremely successful results.
VCMS was proud to be a sponsor for the first time for this important event held under patronage of H.E. Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al-Nahayan, U.A.E. Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development. The team was honored to present the company’s services and to reward the luckiest delegates with two Samsung Galaxy Tablets during the raffle draw.
